Two networking days with Dutch delegations in Serbia

ESM’s director, Tom de Boer, participated in two network gatherings on May 21st and 22nd in Novi Sad and Belgrade.

On the first day, he attended the 92nd International Agriculture Fair in Novi Sad, where he was welcomed at a lunch event. He addressed the Dutch delegation of 15 AgriTech mission participants about the do’s and don’ts of Balkan business culture. The event was hosted by Dutch Ambassador Martijn Elgersma and led by Agricultural Advisor Mila Mirkovic and Agricultural Counsellor Koen van Ginneken from the Dutch Embassy.

On May 22nd, de Boer attended a cocktail reception at Ambassador Elgersma’s residence with Senior Economic and Trade Officer Bojana Arsić. The event brought together members of the fCN – Founders Carbon Network from Amsterdam visiting Serbia for the first time. During the evening, he reconnected with Ana Brnabić, President of the National Assembly of Serbia.

The director described the experience as “a pleasant bonding experience with the local Dutch community and the Dutch guests from the trade missions.”
